Jetted Bathtubs

The Benefits Of Using Jetted Bathtubs Can Improve A Person's Health

Most people are not aware that the common name for jetted bathtubs is a whirlpool tub, which is great for soaking and relaxing. The built-in jets are made with fitted pipes, suction fittings, an electrical pump and water jets. All of these materials combined cause the water to come out at high speeds and with great velocity. Air is propelled into the water by each jet through a vented constraint at the mouth of the jet. You can control the amount of air that goes into the water in order to control the velocity and pressure. When you purchase jetted bathtubs, you will receive instructions on how to operate its features to maximize how you prefer to enjoy your bath.

The Benefits of Jetted Bathtubs

There are a number of benefits associated with using jetted bathtubs. Basically, anyone who decides to purchase this type of tub wants to get more out of the bathtub than merely having a place to wash their body. If you can imagine having a personal masseur in your home everyday, you can understand the benefit of having a jet bathtub. Any muscle pain and stiffness is eased with the hot, high speed water that surrounds your body. If you suffer from arthritis, have a sports injury or poor circulation, either of these can be relieved by using jetted bathtubs.

The combination of the water and air that comes out of the jets is what gives the massaging action. Your neck, back, shoulder, thighs and lower back will feel the difference after one use. Blood circulation is encouraged with the massaging jet spray. Your damaged muscle tissue is repaired and rejuvenated. Some also believe that the massaging action in jetted bathtubs fuels the lymphatic system and removes toxins from the body.

An example of the great functionality of jetted bathtubs is the American Bath Factory Champagne Jester Jetted Rolltop, made with acrylic material. The price for this model ranges from $2,779 to $3,025. The styles for the Jester come with either a claw foot or lion’s paw foot design, and are available in chrome, old world bronze and white. You can choose between a right or left hand pump, depending on which side is your preference.

The warm therapeutic bubbles in jetted bathtubs can help to improve your quality of sleep. Also, people with diabetes have reportedly lowered their insulin requirements with regular use.

When my wife wanted to put a whirlpool tub in our bathroom I tried everything to talk her out of it. I didn't think we'd use it much, but I was wrong. I love soaking and relaxing in this tub.
